WebEx Record & Playback

WebEx Record & Playback enables recording capabilities to capture any application, including presentations, software demos, and even WebEx meetings, with synchronized voice recording (in order to capture the audio portion, an additional telephone / soundcard adapter is required). These recordings are saved as a local file and can be placed on your LAN or on your website. Colleagues or customers can then view them at any time.

You can capture presentations, software application demos and even WebEx meetings with WebEx Record & Playback. Other benefits include:

  • Great Sales Tool—A sales tool to provide a 'live' presentation or demonstration to potential customers, straight from your website, when they want it and at no cost to you.
  • Training, Training, Training—A great training and help tool that does not require your customers to read reams of text and directly helps you reduce support costs.
  • Streaming Replay—The recording is streamed to the browser during playback. You do not have to wait for the entire file to be downloaded before viewing it. The playback starts soon after you click on the link.

Record

To see a demo of the recorder, please contact a WebEx sales representative at info@webex.com.

Playback

The WebEx Player is free and is downloaded automatically when you first access a WebEx playback file.

After you have recorded a file and uploaded it onto your own webserver, you can set up that file to be replayed directly from your Web page. This is absolutely FREE. All we require is that you put a Powered by WebEx logo on your Web page.

Example

Check out the following example of WebEx Playback—just click on the link. The WebEx Player is automatically downloaded if you do not already have it.
