The Director of Customer Marketing will be responsible for the strategy, planning and successful execution of various customer marketing programs focused around installed base, loyalty, referral and viral marketing with the ultimate goal of driving additional services revenue, net new customer acquisition and customer loyalty. These programs may include upsell / cross sell campaigns and promotions, loyalty programs, user conferences and groups, viral marketing initiatives (both within and external to the service), referral initiatives to increase WebEx market share, and in-service messaging and promotions. The Director will devise means to effectively test, measure and internally market the results of these programs as well as define system requirements to support as necessary. The qualified candidate will also manage a team of 2 - 3 marketing managers. Customer adoption programs are not defined within the scope of this position, as they are managed with the customer-facing post-sales group (Customer Care). However, it is imperative that the Director work closely with the Customer Care group to leverage synergies across the two programs groups and ensure consistent messaging and branding across all customer programs.

This position will provide the opportunity for a qualified Director to shape the overall role and contribution of the Customer Marketing team. The Director will be responsible for driving overall customer marketing strategies that align with business unit objectives of increased loyalty, improved cost per sale, increased cross-sell of other service and greater revenue from the installed base. The Director will work closely with the Customer Marketing team, the marketing acquisition team, marketing communications, the 3 customer segment teams, our customer adoptions programs team and various marketing agencies to implement programs against these strategies.

WebEx's business spans 3 business segments: individual users, small corporate and departmental customers and Fortune 1000 accounts, so the Director will face a broad range of business and marketing challenges. This includes the ongoing improvement of our customer data in order to support more sophisticated marketing programs. He or she will also have frequent contact with members of the WebEx Management Team.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in installed base customer marketing, direct marketing and relationship marketing, preferably in a subscription or annuity business.
  • Demonstrated experience in both B-to-C and B-to-B marketing, within a service-based ASP environment a plus.
  • Proven experience leading a team of marketing professionals, managing outside agencies as well as internal cross-departmental relationships
  • Proven analytical skills and an ability to understand and formulate programs based on data driven analytics.
  • Ability to effectively work within in cross-functional environmentto achieve success for all targets and programs within budget.
  • Experience operating at a senior levels within a company and liaising with senior management on a day-to-day basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, flawless presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build strategically sound and comprehensive marketing plans that support overall corporate and business objectives.
  • Experience in fast-paced and rapidly growing business environment, flexibility to quickly adapt strategies and programs to meet overall business and corporate goals.

Sr. Web Developer

The Sr. Web Developer functions as an API expert for WebEx.com, MarketFirst and provides marketing interfaces to the Webex Services. The Sr Web Developer will interface with product management, product marketing, marketing and sales to deliver Web sites and applications that optimize the user experience of prospects, customers on the Web. The Sr. Web Developer will assist Web design resources (internal and external) in making technology decisions required to optimize web design and development. The Sr. Web Developer will also contribute to the evolution of the WebEx services delivered via Webex.com e.g. Pay-per-Use, Free trials and mywebex.com. Specific support for the XML API version will be required.

Overall Responsibilities:
